12/2/15

This is a quick note for western MA area readers.

First, we hope you will be able to come to our free program this Saturday, December 5th:

Education Or Miseducation: By Accident or Design?

with Dr. Mulazimuddin Rasool

10 a.m.-12:30 at the First Congregational Church, 43 Silver Street in Greenfield

Confederate flag in Greenfield

You may have seen the articles in our local paper, the Greenfield Recorder, about a Greenfield police officer displaying a confederate flag in his garage - with the doors open to public view. The officer is the police department's representative to the town's Human Rights Commission!

Read the original article, from yesterday's paper.

Today's paper (12/2) includes a second front page story, headlined "Greenfield police sergeant gets support," and also an editorial stating that the flag "sends wrong signals."

Come on out!

Monday, 12/14

In solidarity,

Shen
